Education, keep fit and sporting activities take place at the Massey Birdwood Settlers Hall. You can also learn and practice the art of Quilting every second Wednesday in one of the halls side rooms, known as the Den. The sessions run from 6.30pm to around 9pm with Wendy Oswin showing you how to undertake the tricky bits of Quilting. On the second Saturday of every month, the Waitakere City Cake Decorating Club converge on the Hall. Demonstrations and classes are held that teach you how to decorate the cake for your 21st birthday, or your friend’s Wedding.
