Easter rubbish and recycling collection changes
Due to Good Friday and Easter Monday holidays most Auckland Council rubbish, recycling and paper collection services will be one day later than usual. This will affect collections for two weeks starting Friday 6 April (Good Friday).
Note: The following exception to the above are:
- Parnell/Newmarket area – no change to Thursday night rubbish collection (red lid bins only) in the Parnell and Newmarket areas
- North Shore and Waitakere – no change to business’ evening kerbside rubbish bag, recycling and paper/cardboard collections
- Rodney – contact your local private rubbish collection provider to confirm Easter schedule.
Normal collection schedule resumes on Monday 16 April 2012.
