Finding a job can be a long and winding road, fraught with frustration.
But it need not be an impossible task.
Massey residents can register for a five week Employment Course and gain work related certificates, a sharp CV, improved interview skills and support from a mentoring coach to become job ready.
Starting May 14 the Massey Employment Gateways Project aims to bring training and employment opportunities to three community organisations in Massey.
Organised by the Workers Educational Association (WEA), the project is being funded by a grant from the Henderson Massey Local Board. It is being supported by the Massey Community Trust, the Massey Community House in conjunction with the Massey Birdwood Settlers Association and the Leataata O Tupulaga O Le Pasefika early childhood centre in Moire Road.
